Phillip Laidlaw

Phil is a leader and consultant in the human services sector with a focus on organisational excellence through culture, service design and innovation. With Julie Patterson he is the co-founder and Managing Director of Therapy Pro, and co-founder of Support Coordination Academy. Phil has deep experience in supporting and growing businesses across all stages from vision and design, investment and initiation start up phases right through to success at scale.

His approach is underpinned by the values and philosophies of Occupational Therapy, and by formative career experiences in major institutional and disability sector reform projects. As a consultant he has worked extensively with the NDIA and service providers of all sizes around the country.

His strengths are in leading teams through change, and developing strategies, service models, learning and development products and other solutions to grow businesses and address complex system challenges.

Under his and Julie’s leadership Therapy Pro has grown to an organisation of nearly 200 staff. It is renowned for its warm and welcoming culture, and commitment to empowering people, families and communities via the delivery of high quality multi-disciplinary supports in complex environments.
