Speaker Bio

Terri is an Aboriginal woman from Gumbaynggirr country with Dunghutti and Biripi bloodlines. She spent 12 years in the NSW Police Force before moving into Child Protection in the Government and non-Government sector 18 years ago. Terri worked for CASPA Services for six years and was employed by CASPA as the National Aboriginal Services and Supports Program Manager. She is a champion for cultural safety, awareness and change within any organisation and across the Out of Home Care sector. Terri has now moved into a Senior Consultant role with Curijo Pty Ltd. Curijo is proudly a certified, majority Aboriginal-owned, profit for purpose company delivering high-quality, tailored professional services to meet the diverse needs of leading organisations and professionals, from grass roots through to senior executive management.

Terri loves reading, painting and trying new foods and recipes from around the world. Life has come a long way from her previous passions: playing rugby union and league!
